I first moved to San Luis to be close to my daughter, and a couple of years later I decided I didn’t want to cook any more and it might be time to move to The Villages. I was a bit scared at first that it would be hard to make friends and that I wouldn’t have many musical outlets. But I was wrong on both counts. There was no way I wasn’t going to make friends – not with all the activities and friendly people. No one stays in their room, so I’m always meeting people out and about. For musical outlets I lead the men’s chorus, play the piano in the dining room, take trips to the Performing Arts Center, and the list goes on.
