"For any family that is considering a transition for their loved one, I would say they need to come and experience Sydney Creek for themselves."
It was tough being so far from mom as she was living on the east coast, and my husband and I lived in Calfornia. My sister was the primary caregiver. It was getting harder and harder to look after mom when she went back to work, and mom needed constant supervision.
My relationship with my mom since she's come to Sydney Creek has been one of pure joy. Prior to mom coming here, I would see mom every 3 to 4 months because of the distace. Now that she's five minutes away, we get together every second to third day for three to four hours, and we have just joyful times and it's such a delight after so many, many years of living on either coast. Now mom's here and I'm making up for lost time. I love it. I really do.
